Servicepunkten

What is the Service Point?

The Unbyn/Avan service point has been initiated thanks to the EU project Service i samverkan Boden Luleå, financed by Tillväxtverket, Boden municipality and Luleå municipality. The aim of the project is to create a common service node in Avan- Unbyn. During the project, a network of local stakeholders was put together to form the economic association UNEK, which will operate the Service Point from May 1, 2021.

The service point is designed to provide the inhabitants of the villages with a good service in terms of both public services and services provided by the local business community.

Residents in the area should be offered personalized services in the form of information, guidance, advice, booking and contact with authorities. The service point should also be a meeting place for the residents of the area where it is easily accessible to meet, have a cup of coffee and discuss issues related to the community.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at UNEK.

Seed library

Do you like to sow and collect your own seeds? Join the seed library so we can exchange seeds in our village. The service point sets up a seed library where growers can drop off and pick up seeds adapted to our climate. Collect seeds during the season of both flowers and vegetables that you know are hardy in our growing zone, then leave some surplus at the Service Point and for next season we will hopefully have built up a small stock of seeds that we can distribute here in our village. If you are interested, contact the Service Point at info@unek.se.
